El programa de supervivencia fue desarrollado por un grupo de trabajo nacional diverso, compuesto por destacados expertos en el campo de la recuperación tras un paro cardíaco, incluyendo científicos, médicos, defensores y partes interesadas. Las personas que se enumeran a continuación, que formaron parte del grupo de trabajo original, ahora representan un grupo de trabajo cuyo objetivo es mejorar el contenido de CASA, la difusión y la conexión con el personal de alta hospitalaria.

Fundada en 2005, la Fundación para el Paro Cardíaco Súbito es una organización nacional sin fines de lucro 501(c)(3) de primer nivel, dedicada exclusivamente a crear conciencia y salvar vidas amenazadas por el Paro Cardíaco Súbito. Somos ampliamente reconocidos como la fuente experta de referencia para obtener información y recursos confiables sobre el PCS. Nuestro equipo está compuesto por líderes reconocidos a nivel nacional en el campo y partes interesadas, incluyendo sobrevivientes, co-sobrevivientes (familiares y amigos) y otras personas afectadas por el PCS.

Nuestra visión es eliminar las muertes y discapacidades prevenibles causadas por un paro cardíaco súbito y apoyar a las personas afectadas personalmente por un paro cardíaco súbito. Nuestra misión es crear conciencia sobre el paro cardíaco súbito y promover iniciativas que ayuden a salvar vidas mediante la educación, la investigación y el apoyo comunitario. La Alianza de Sobrevivientes de Paros Cardíacos es una consecuencia de nuestra consolidada Red de Sobrevivientes.
